2005 U.S. Army Earth Day poster is a
digital graphic design created by Diane Burrier

   Began airbrushing in 1983, after some years of drawing live portraits and caricatures in beaches and shopping malls along the east coast.   

   Airbrushed in resorts and shopping malls on the east coast, notably Virginia Beach Va., and Fort Lauderdale, Fla. Since 1990, based in the Baltimore, MD. area. 

 Bachelors degree in art from Towson University. Additional education for graphic design, web design, video and animation. Currently enrolled in graduate program for Interactive Media Design at Towson University.

   Airbrush awards include Impressions Excellence Awards:  1st Place in 1991 and1996, 2nd Place in 1991, and Honorable Mentions in 1990 and 1992. Airbrush Action awards:  1st Place in 1991, 2nd Place in 1996.

Various graphic and Web design awards from the Keith L. Ware Competition for U.S. Army civilian enterprise newspaper in 2000, 2001, 2002, and 2003. Certificate from former Garrison Commander Colonel Mardi Mark for services at APG News in June 04.

     Employed from 2000-04 as graphic designer, typesetter, and Webmaster for APG News and APG News Online for the U.S. Army at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD.

    Employed by Log.Sec Corp. since 2004 (no affiliation to BurrartDesign) as a graphic and multimedia designer for the U.S. Army.

    Free-lance advertising clients of BurrrartDesign include Eagle Carpet, About Us magazine, and StarCaps. Resides in Harford County Maryland with husband Dave and son Paul, eleven.

     BurrartDesign Web site has been successfully operating year-round since 2002.
